Step 2: Select the Size of Deck
Length denotes the distance of ONE side of your deck. To determine the material list for more than one side, you will need to access two or more handrail plans.

Combining Handrail Plans
Download a plan for each length of railing your deck requires.
Note: When building multiple handrail sections, you can subtract one post and its hardware from the material list for each corner where the handrails meet.
Example: If you are building handrailing around 3 sides of your deck, you can subtract the materials needed for two handrail posts. (see plans)
