Side Pool Deck Vs Rectangle Deck Plans 8 Months ago
I saw a few side pool decks in the forum, that were built a little more than 1/2 the height of the pool. If I wanted to build an 8 x 10 or larger rectangle deck about 25" - 30" in height for a 52" pool, do I still need to brace the deck? How would I lay out the dek blocks and supports closest to the pool? Would the rest of the dek blocks be placed according to the rectangle deck or side pool deck plans?

Thanks

If your deck height is below 30" then you do not need to use diagonal bracing. Layout the blocks to meet our specifications of no more than 5' along the joists and 16 to 24 (30max) apart. The blocks closest to the pool will be about 10" away from the pool.
